Well, I can't say that I blame Bill Clinton. I've been watching these conventions since 1976, when my grandmother worked on President Ford's re-election campaign. I voted for Clinton twice, and then Gore.

Always, Always before this Democratic convention, past presidents were honored for their respect for their position, whether President Ford, Regan, Bush the first, or Carter.

I went to a high school that had a make-up of 48% Caucasian, 52 % African American, Mexican, Latino, Japanese, and Chinese.

I would rather have Colin Powell or Denzel Washington running. They seem to understand how to honor the position, no matter what hard feelings.

Where has our society gone in two decades that this treatment is allowed to happen to a past president who had one of the presence of mind to appoint an amazing economics team while in the Oval Office?
