Question for CNN, why are some story comment lines closed out so much sooner than others. The story on McCain's new attack ad on Obama's eco plan was closed out after just 25 comments. It was posted later than this story but closed much sooner. Why?

In layman's terms: If we are considering babies at that stage people, kids, etc., then we should really take a look at abortion period. If we are considering them people, then we are only accepting the child because he/she didn't die. So aborting that child would essentially be murder if that child had died. Skipped votes on the last 13 energy policy related bills going back over two years?
Skipped votes on 20 straight environmental bills going back almost 3 years?

If Social Security is such a great idea, why doesn't he propose REAL change and promise to make all members of Congress, the executive branch and all other government employees contribute to this system just like the rest of us. By the way, the 50% of us making less than the nation median income pay only 2.9% of the tax burden. There isn't much left to cut. Don't believe Obama's proposals will be a net cut in taxes. They'll go up and the so-called "rich", who have seen their share of the tax burden increase dramatically under Bush will find a way to turn higher marginal rates into lower overall tax payments. Unfortunately, this can't be explained in a 15-second sound bite, which is all the politicians and news media are capable of - to our ultimate detriment.

These latest ads from Obama have proven to me he is no different a politician than the rest.

As an independent looking for a change in Washington, it is clear with Obama's change on positions based on polls or pressure from his far left base accompanied by the politics of smear, that he is by far the worst candidate in this race.

I, and most other independent I know will be voting for John McCain in November.

Every time McCain has flip/flopped it has been very shortly after he receives a maximum donation from a contributor. For example, McCain was against off shore drilling until he received a donation from top executives in 3 of the major oil companies in excess of 3 millions. After the funds were clear in the bank McCain announced that he is reversing his position on off shore drilling and now is in favor of it.

McCain offers a government for sale. Contributions are one thing but changing your position because of the contributions spell corruption.

I have yet to see a commercial from McCain that is positive. I have yet to find anything positive or of substance from the 'straight talk express' guy.

Obama is still running a positive campaign.
